This course is a dump. They don_t mow here. The greens are the length of a normal fairway. The rest of the course is rough length. Video poker in the bar area is the only thing worth doing here. |

Not only is the owner rude, He is nuts! Seriously, he is a very disturbed individual! |
Golfer: Chuck Date: 2011-04-12 Rating: |
Owner of this dump is the worst person on earth. If you ever have an opportunity do do buisness with him, don_t. He will swear at you, call you a \_jack-off\_, accuse you of smoking pot, not pay his bill, then have the cops escort you off the property. Then he will sexually harass his secretary. (who was very nice, by the way) |

Possibly the BEST golf experience I_ve ever had. The greens were immaculate, fairways well groomed and the tees were well maintained. Courteous staff and grounds crew made it even better. By all means give this historic 95 year old gem a try. You won_t be disappointed. |

Hands down the most gay and ridiculous course I will ever play in my lifetime. My vasectomy was much more enjoyable than the 18 holes I played at this shit hole. |

this is the worst place in the world, absolute toilet. the owner and employees are extremely rude. i called to complain and that greek owner told me to F off |

An old man was hitting on the first tee and I ran in front of him and fell down the 250 foot hill. I dropped my bag and my balls fell out of the zippers and I didn_t give a crap. I kept trucking for the green thinking I could make it, but the fuzz got me on the cartpath and spent 2 months in the slammer |

Course has great potential if it were in the hands of someone who didn_t mind spending a few bucks.Greens are laughable- think of putting on your front lawn just after you_ve mowed it.If you are a beginner golfer, this place is for you.Course is always wide open so you don_t have to worry about holding anybody up.I do however like the vintage lounge inside the clubhouse. It makes me want to put on my bellbottoms, grab a Stroh_s, and go play a couple holes with persimmons. |

Each other comment was rated a 1 star except the guy who rated the comments 3 stars! This course is never in good shape, but its only saving point is - it_s close to Interstate 294! |

This has to be the worst course ever. Rude staff, horrid conditions, spongelike greens, and grass that only cows can appreciate. The only entertainment value I have ever gotten out of this course was the time we flipped our golf cart, and then put it in a stream. I_ve also hit a guy in the back of the neck with a errant shot. This also brings up the fact that the set up is horrible and whereever you stand could be a landing area for someone elses shots. Hope you feel safe hiding behind a chain link fence. Other than these incidents, I regret that I have ever gone to this overpriced joke of a golf course. |

I haven_t played there in three years because the course is not maintained and over priced. Good to see somethings don_t change. |

Not really commenting on the golf even though I was escorted off the course by the fuzz for trespassing for trying to sneak in a little night golf during the wedding reception I was attending. Anyway I am only here commenting on the staff of this horrid place... namely the owner. During the reception I wanted to watch a little of the Cubs game in an unoccupied room with several TVs so I asked a man behind the counter who I found out later was the owner if he could put it on. To make a long story short he ended up telling me to F--- off simply for asking to put on the Cubs game. What a miserable old man. Don_t give him your business especially if you are an American because he seems to have a very negative pre-judgment against us. |

I could play this course for free and still feel like I was ripped off. The jag who runs this pit should do us all a favor and launch himself end over end down the 250 foot hill off the first tee box!! |
Golfer: Dan Date: 2004-08-10 Rating: |
To bad I can't put down no stars, because this course sucks!!. There is no differnce between the fairway, the ruff, the green, and where you tee off. This course is very over priced and i advise you to stay away. |
Golfer: Anonymous Duffer Date: 2004-05-28 Rating: |
This has been the most hilarious thing I have ever read. I have never read a review of a place that had that MANY reviews and every one of them horrible. Thanks for the info. I will stay away. |
Golfer: Glen Date: 2003-07-17 Rating: |
Only course I've ever played that has no fairway or rough. It's all the same. Sorry I lied, several holes have cart path running through the middle of the "so called fairways". PS - bring a wedge for the greens because putts don't roll there, they bounce. |
Golfer: Jim Date: 2003-07-17 Rating: |
PLEASE NOTE:Last week my league of 16 years at this place was kicked out because a bartender gave us our 1st drink. We only played there because it is was easy to get to. The place has always sucked, in 16 years they have done almost nothing to improve the course. Greens are shag carpeting and there is no fairways or ruff is just all long. When it rains you will be walking in water days later. STAY AWAY Thank you. |
Golfer: Tommy Z Date: 2003-07-11 Rating: |
DO NOT PLAY HERE. The course is always in terrible condition, and the prices are expensive. The owner is only concerned about his banquet business and treats golfers like crap. STAY AWAY! |
Golfer: Ryan Date: 2003-05-28 Rating: |
Unfortunately I was not able to see these reviews before playing. The so called fairways are groomed like my backyard. The greens are cut like a normal fairway would be there are no fringes, maybe 2 traps and I think maybe water on one hole. This is honestly the worst course ever. In one area there are 2 greens within 15 yards of each other. In another area, there are 3 greens within a 30 yard radius. I'm getting mad reliving this awful experience. Yes they have redone the inside it looks like, but it also could be the worst reception hall ever-talk about tacky. This place should be shut down and the owners should NEVER be allowed to own/operate a golf facility of ANY type ever again. |
Golfer: Anonymous Duffer Date: 2003-04-13 Rating: |
Don't golf here. The owner of the joint is nuts. |
Golfer: Anonymous Duffer Date: 2002-02-06 Rating: |
It sucked...if it rains 4 days prior to playing there you should bring your raft. I hope that the new banquet facility makes more money than the course does |
Golfer: Chris Englert Date: 2002-02-06 Rating: |
This is the WORST course I have ever played. All of the greens were brown and water logged, it was like putting in a swamp. Our tee time was for 12:00pm and we didnt get to the first tee until 12:45pm. A complete waste of $40 especially since there was at least a 3 party backup on every hole. |
Golfer: Paul Date: 2002-02-06 Rating: |
Dont waste your money..The tee times are only 6 min apart...so dont expect to tee off within the hour of your time. expect a 6 hour round. dont bother complaining about your round because the fat boss will yell and swear at you. Take it from someone who has worked and played there. dont waste your money.. there are much better courses in the area.. i pitty those that work or spend there money there. |
