Course was in great condition, very difficult. Lot of water and sand traps. Twilight rates are now a bit more reasonable, $42 with cart and range balls after 4pm, I got an email $30 twilight round coupon, sign up for their email list. I played 18 while hitting a few balls some holes in a tad over 3 hrs. Staff seemed polite enough and the course was in great condition. Only downside I thought was the lack of pin flag coloring, they_re all red. Don_t go here planning to dust off the clubs, it could make you put em back away. However, if you want a challenge for less than the Dubsdread price at night, check it out. |

Great golf course. Definitely worth the rate in spring and fall when it_s only $60. Not sure if I_d pay $120 mid-summer. Very strategic, with memborable holes all around. Only drawbacks are improperly marked yardages on some holes and lots of subdivision surroundings. Don_t play if you_re looking for a forest retreat without the goldilocks houses. |

This course is one of my favorites to play in Chicagoland. With the twillight rate at $65 it is very reasonable but the regular price shouldn_t be $99. The 11th hole, the island hole is a thrill to play. The course is in great shape is fun to play. Bring your A game. |

I loved the course; very interesting "Pete Dye" challenge. Got a "deal" playing at $80 which was well worth it--over $100 I would not pay. |

9/2/04 Just played today. I would play here again if they dropped the price to $ 39.99. The course is marked horribly for distance. The fairways are OK and the greens OK. Nothing special. Rangers??? What rangers, never saw a ranger there the whole 5 hours we were playing. DEFINETLY not worth $ 125 |

I'm sorry but this course is way overpriced. The course layout looks average comparable to White Deer Run G.C., so for $125, I'd rather play Cog Hill Dubsdread. |

Is this Bushwood?!? The arrogant staff had me looking around for Ted Knight and Bill Murray. Rangers did nothing to help pace of play (5hrs 20 min on a weekday). I suppose it would be a value if they charged you by the hour, but the diseased greens make this an extremely over-priced outing. Luckily there are lots of nice courses in the same neighborhood, where the staff won't look down their nose at you. |

Indeed a good course but definitely..rude staff..arrogant more like for what ever the reason..like they own the course or something...definitly not worth the money. And there is a lack of potable water and ball washer... |

Terrible green conditions - especially on the front nine - keep this course from making the 'A' list. Course design is beautiful among the equally beautiful houses, but slow play degraded the experience. Rangers were reluctant to speed people up because of private membership. Course staff was very snobby and lack of a yardage book made the numerous blind tee shots very difficult to plan. I'd return if they lowered the price to around $70 and fixed up the greens. |

This course has one of the best names of any course you will play, it will ruffle your feathers, at the cash register and on the course. You have to buy a logo shirt, it makes for good conversation when your playing in Vegas. |

Tough approach shots to rounded greens...well manicured young course but too expensive. More like a $75 course instead of $110. Dubs is worth 100+, not Ruffled Feathers. |

Too Expensive! Instead of $110, this course should play 80 bucks. This course has some very challenging holes and is very well manicured. It's one of the nicer courses in the area, but over priced. |

Can you say...amazing???!!! This course is in excellent shape and very challenging. Beautiful holes and a Par 3 island green. Make sure your drive is on that day or you'll be sleeping with the fishes. |
Golfer: Thubbard Date: 2003-08-08 Rating: |
This is indeed a nice course, but I agree that it is somewhat overpriced at 110. Lots of interesting holes, though. Not overpoweringly long, but challenging and well-kept. |
